1.why it is my favourite- the polar bear is absolutely adorable and the compostion of this photo is great. i love the effect of the underwater with the bubbles and the fur giving that sort of teaxture, the colors are very nice and not over done.
3.Describe the photos, how does the image document the event/ how does the image tell the story? the photo has a blueish green tone with a nice compostions of a polar bear underwater breathing with bubbles coming out of his nose.

1.why this is my favourite-i like teh abstraction of thsi photo. when you first look at it a couple of things come to mind, and eve when you get up close you still are not quite sure as to whats going on. the ariel veiw also makes it muh more powerful then it woul be if the picture was taken from up close.
3.Describe the photos, how does the image document the event/ how does the image tell the story? well this photo doesnt really document the photo very well because,

JR inside out project reflection
by the way i didnt realize we only had to choose 2 questions so i answered them all so yeah haha.
I found it very hard to represent LFAS, because we had to do so with very little to work with. Our models had to wear all white and have a plain background so it all we really had to work with was their facial expressions and body language. Which is a lot to work with but at the same time very little. It all depends on what aspect of LFAS we were trying to represent. Because representing the arts its self was kinda difficult without using props. But I think we managed to represent the lively accepting creative atmosphere we have here. And that is very clear in a lot of the pictures everyone did. The challenges I faced with getting people to show their true personality’s in the photographs was that a lot of the people I photographed were very shy, And they weren’t sure what to do. I tried my best to make them laugh and get them to play around so I could get more candid shots. But it was kinda difficult to get them to open up. I found it extremely hard to show the art of my model, 2 of my models were drama and so I tried to get them to be as expressive as possible but it was very difficult. And another was dance so I tried to get some poses but I didn’t really want to use props because personally it felt a little bit like cheating so I found it very difficult. I could probably get some good ones if I caught them in their art. I didn’t really have any technical challenges in the photo taking process but when I came time to make my 16” by 20” I had some sort of unexplainable issue with the enlargers on the left side of the room. My print kept coming out hazy and grey and no matter how much contrast I put it barely affected it. I had all the magenta up and the aperture all the way up and my time was at 800 seconds at it still wouldn’t expose correctly and I tried 2 different enlargers on the back wall and it wouldn’t look good. So I ended up having to take enlarger 3 and unbolt it and turn it around so I could project it on the floor. And within 20 minutes I had finished my big print and it was perfect so that was pretty much the only technical difficulty. I learned that I’m not very good at portraits when I have to get them to model I need to plan out the photos I will take more. I also know that I am very good with technical stuff to do with film and studio lights. i learned that kids are adorable. I didn’t learn a whole ton about photography but I just improved my skills with all the practice. I would love to be a portrait photography but I don’t like the people aspect of it I more like the way you can form the picture more with a person in it. But working with people is a pain cause then your relying on a another person. So I would probably want to be mixed. So over all this project helped me expand and grow as a photographer.
